The 3 Best Dental Podcasts That Keep It REAL!
I was never really a “podcast guy.” Probably because I have a short drive between my home and office. But, because I do quite a bit of lecturing (before COVID-19 hit), I have been asked to be on a few and always enjoyed the interactions. I started listening to a few different podcasts and 3 really became my favorites pretty quickly. They all have one thing in common. They keep it REAL! And, although all 3 are a bit different in topics and style, they all speak the truth, never sugarcoat anything and all make me laugh.
So, here are my Top 3 dental podcasts, that I recommend for anyone who wants to learn, to be entertained and want to laugh.
1. The ALL-IN Podcast: A New Perspective on the Dental Industry
So, this was the first dental podcast I ever really listened to and it’s definitely my favorite! Ironically, it is hosted by two non-dentists, Blake McClellan, CEO of Implant Compare and one of the founders of Dental Influencers Alliance and Shane McElroy who works for BioHorizons Implant Systems. This podcast is awesome and I don’t just say that because I have been a gues. They have some incredible insights on the entire dental industry, not just from the dentists’ perspective. Moreover, they have some of the top clinicians, experts inside the dental industry and outside from all around the world as guests. It’s just a killer mix of clinical, business, marketing, comedy and anything else you can think of. Definitely give this one a listen!
2. Dentists, Implants and Worms: Helping You Navigate the World of Dentistry One Vodka Soda at a Time!
Ok, maybe I am a little biased here because I love Dr. Justin Moody. He’s a great friend, clinician and even better dude. This podcast is obviously hosted by Justin, but also Gabe Olson, Jeff Smith and Dr. John Landers. Their style is kind of like drinking at a bar with your buddies and having some in depth conversations. These guys tell it like it is and never pull any punches. Also, this podcast has a ton of great guests from clinicians, to ceo’s and everyone in between. Some really great content here!
3. The Bulletproof Dental Practice Podcast: Marketing. Systems. Leadership. Proven strategies to grow your practice.
This one was actually recommended to me by Shane, one of the hosts of The ALL-IN Podcast. And, I am so glad he recommended it, because when it comes to improving your dental practice, the hosts Dr. Peter Boulden and Dr. Craig Spodak have some incredible advice. I really like the honest style and banter between the two. It’s not ever cheesy like a few of the other dental business podcasts I listened to briefly. This podcast is filled with stellar tips and insights from two doctors who have massively successful practices.
So, in summary, if you are looking for a top-notch dental podcast to dig into that’s educational, entertaining, hilarious and REAL, give one of these a listen!
