Q: Please introduce yourself to the readers and how you first got into this field of work –and who were some of your influences growing up?
I’m a Texas country artist making an impact in today's music industry. Starting to be a chart-topper and working towards a grammy. I enjoy writing songs and connecting with music lovers!!! My close friend Sonny Burgess who is also a country legend encouraged me to pursue a career in country music.
Q: What kind of training have you had, if any?
I started learning piano and guitar at an early age. In college I had vocal training with a professional opera teacher.
Q: What has been your favourite project to work on so far?
My favorite project is Guadalupe River. Recorded at Ft. Worth Sound with previous band members of Miranda Lambert.
Q: How did you get the gig?
My close engineer friend Tanner Landry set it all up in his studio.
Q: What sports do you enjoy watching?
I’m a huge sports fanatic. Football, Basketball,Hockey, Tennis and Golf. Don’t forget Nascar!
Q: What has been one of the biggest highlights/achievements of your career?
I had the privilege to perform at John Schneider Studio in Louisiana. The Dukes of Hazzard festival called “Bo’s extravaganza.”
Q: If you had a chance to work alongside anybody who would that be?
The list is long but to name a few- George Strait, Eric Church, Dolly Parton and Tim McGraw!
Q: What projects do you have coming up?
I’m working on some new country tunes! Preparing to go back to the studio namely SG studio here in Texas.
Q: Who is your inspiration?
My kids are my inspiration. Making them proud and hopefully be a legend someday!
Q: What ’s the most interesting thing you've read or seen this week?
I was invited to a Rick Barker (former Taylor Swift manager) podcast talking about the new music industry. Learning skills on how to succeed in the music business for 2020.
Q: What are your favorite venues to perform in?
One of my favorite venues is Firehouse Saloon in Houston,Tx. I’ll be there on Nov. 15 at 9 pm. Also the Mayfest Festival Ft. Worth, Tx on Apr. 30 at 7:00 pm.
