MOHA making it through the EDM scene

Q: Please introduce yourself to the readers and how you first got into this field of work –and who were some of your influences growing up?

MOHA 22-year-old DJ and producer with over 170K monthly listeners on Spotify has reached more than 10.000.000 global streams in more than 70 countries.

Discovered the world of music at a young age. Falling in love with Skrillex’s music back in 2012 made me jump into music production. My influences in EDM since that are Skrillex, Martin Garrix, Quintino, and Dynoro.

Q: What has been your favorite project to work on so far?

My last release ‘’I wanna know’’.

Q: What sports do you enjoy watching?

I love watching football alongside my dad. Football has been my favorite sport since I was a kid and I do enjoy watching every match.

Q: What has been one of the biggest highlights/achievements of your career?

Charting this year with my cover ‘’ASTRONOMIA’’ as number 16 in the dance charts in Belgium, as number 26 in the house charts in Canada.

Q: If you had a chance to work alongside anybody who would that be?

Skrillex 100% sure.

Q: What projects do you have coming up?

I got two more releases for the month of august that people will love for sure. There’s a lot of music coming for this year.

Q: Who is your inspiration?

My biggest inspiration is not always a person, sometimes is how I feel, sometimes is just a long walk at the beach, sometimes is just spending time with my girlfriend. Inspiration comes from everywhere.

Q: What are your favorite venues to perform in?

I usually perform in Spain, the country where I live. I like Málaga a lot, great people, great ambient and the nicest place on earth.

Q: Do you have any advice for young music makers like yourself?

Keep working non-stop, never give up on your dreams, I know sometimes it’s difficult to continue but hard work and persistence are the key to success.
