Let’s talk about one of the youngest, most talented and most talked about actors in Hollywood and on Broadway right now, Lilly Dennis. Ms. Dennis hails to the US from the far away land of Tasmania, Australia and is making headlines with her extraordinary talent on screen and on stage. The talented Tasmanian is currently performing her award-winning solo show, Chocoholic, in both Los Angeles and New York. The show has been on Broadway and was a part of the biggest solo festival in the world, United Solo Theater Festival, and was awarded Best Solo Show. The show became so incredibly popular because of its incredible true story about one woman with an extreme addiction to chocolate which is really just a smoke screen hiding the reality that her husband has passed just away of cancer. Chocoholic is also directed by the famous director and actor Debra De Liso.

Solo shows are not unknown to Broadway with other Award-Winning actors such as Hugh Jackman, Billy Crystal, Carol Burnett, Lily Tomlin, Carrie Fisher just to name a few, also performing their own solo shows. However, Lilly Dennis is taking a route that is not the norm in show business, she is working on stage and screen at the same time. Which brings us to the wildly speculated comedic film Dr. Phlill that is set to be released later this summer. Dennis plays the incredibly funny character of Dr. Phlill, who is desperately trying to become a reality TV couples’ therapist. This film follows in the footsteps of legendary network shows like The Office and Parks and Rec as it is set in the same mockumentary style. The film is directed by the well-known director Nick Conroy, who has worked with huge stars such as Idina Menzel and Selena Gomez. Dr. Phlill also stars the famous South African actress Amy Letcher who has starred on shows such as NCIS. Besides Dr. Phlill the young actor has another film entitled, Still Here produced by Warner Brothers in collaboration with AT&T set to be released this year and has just finished shooting another film Cancer’s Last Stand with the Kings actress Quartay Denaya.

Lilly Dennis rose to fame as what seems to be very quickly but really, it’s her years of training at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, hard work and building an extremely talented reputation in the entertainment industry that has brought her into another year of esteemed acting success. It has just been announced in the Broadway community that she will return this coming year starring again in Chocoholic and is being honoured in the Best Of category. The young star is also cast in the film Amendment directed by the award-winning director Elissa Down. This young female talent is breaking through the entertainment industry on screen and stage working with the best of the best and we can’t wait to see what she does next.
