Q: What was your mission at the start of your company Sharper Office Admin?

Sharper Office Admin was born during the time the world got lockdown during the pandemic. I have worked in Office and Project Management for over 20 years and when the pandemic forced us to “Be Still” I began to take stock in my life and begin planning for the second half 0of my life. I knew I wanted to relocate, but I did not want to have another job. I knew that I excelled at working with entrepreneur business owners and assisting them in structuring their businesses as well as providing them virtual administrative services while we were working from home.

So that’s how Sharper Office Admin came to be.

Q: Describe your range of responsibilities at your position?

As the owner and founder of Sharper Office Admin, I enjoy being involved in almost every aspect of the business. While I focused more on big-picture goals of the company my roles have changed since hiring my Director of Client Services Shannon Johnson, Director of Marketing LJ Martin, and my Director of Operations Tiffany Lazo.

They had made it possible for me to take on a more leadership role while still working as a team to continue growing Sharper Office Admin.

On a typical workday, I might make send out emails to prospective clients. Follow up on calls about services we provide. Review calendar task for the company, tec.

Q: What services or products do you offer?

Sharper Office Admin is a boutique Business Consulting Firm. We offer a unique consulting experience for new entrepreneurs, by providing the best insight on the need of a business by having a respective understanding from one small business to another. We also provide:

· Data entry

· Bookkeeping

· HR Assistance

· Customer Representative

· Management (CRM)

· Virtual Administrative Services

Q: What’s the most challenging thing about being an CEO of Business Consulting Company?

The most challenging part of any consulting company weather its business, or any other king of consulting company is convincing a business owner of the “problems” in their company and you have the expertise to help them change and fix the problem.

Everyone is defensive of something they have built, and although they KNOW there is a problem because remember they called “you” for help, once you give them your findings and initially they are shocked and defensive but if you are a good consultant you will be able to show them that it is not a reflection of them, just the things that may need changed.

Q: How long have you worked in business consulting?

Like I said, I have been in Office and Project management for more than 20 years. Because this experience is closed to business consulting (working with businesses by managing their offices or current project from beginning to end) made it a easy transition to consulting.

We offer a unique consulting experience for new entrepreneurs, by providing the best insight on the need of your business by having a respective understanding from one small business to another. Q: What are your favorite social media platforms?

I love all the media platforms, but most of our business have come from Facebook and Instagram. Were a service-based company so Tic Tok doesn’t really work for us, lol

Q: If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?

Believe in yourself and your business “100 times” more than anyone else who believe in you. It’s hard work and what you put into your business “will” show in time and with patience. If you need help ask for it, and don’t let your pride hold you from making connections.
