Interview with Music Artist Offbeat Lookie

Q: Please introduce yourself to the readers and how you first got into this field of work –and who were some of your influences growing up?

Offbeat Lookie, I first got into this at about 7 I always had a passion for music and sounds.

Q: What kind of training have you had, if any?

I’ve been in the band, choir, engineering, production, and I’m learning the business aspect now.

Q: What has been your favourite project to work on so far?

Honestly, I love them all lol that’s hard…. Probably the most recent project only because it’s new so it’s my youngest baby.

Q: How did you get the gig?

I just grind that’s it, I relocated from my home town and went to work.

Q: What sports do you enjoy watching?

Football of course (Go Birds) Fly Eagles Fly.

Q: What has been one of the biggest highlights/achievements of your career?

People walking up to me like I heard your song or saw my video thinking it was dope.

Q: If you had a chance to work alongside anybody who would that be?

Just about anyone honestly, but a super producer like timbaland won’t hurt.

Q: What projects do you have coming up?

Currently working on a group project with our group (Grand Cru) I just released “Digital Clouds” The Ep on all platforms go check it out.

Q: Who is your inspiration?

My elders inspire me and so do the youth. The hood hero’s and anybody with a heavy work ethic inspires me.

Q: What’s the most interesting thing you’ve read or seen this week?

Robots that can have offspring lol like wtf really? Let’s you know where things are headed in this world “Digital Clouds”

Q: What are your favorite venues to perform in?

The ones that don’t be trying to put a lot of rules on my performance, you can’t water down something pure it becomes weak…. So if I can’t be sure I don’t want to do it.
