Q: Please introduce yourself to the readers and how you first got into this field of work ñand who were some of your influences growing up?

I’m Mike Rosenburg, I go by the Artist name Dj Triple M

I was and still am a huge Mix Master Mike fan. Hence my artist name of Dj Triple M. You can’t name bite now lol Just the way he rocked the turntables and everything I mean were talking about the early 90’s here where Djing wasn’t just a push of a sync button with a laptop. You actually had to adjust the pitch, 8 count beats in your head and skillfully beat match. It’s an art form but today anyone with a controller and a MacBook is a Dj all of a sudden. YouTube wasn’t around back then and you had to buy Dj DVD’s

Q: What kind of training have you had, if any?

Self-taught for djing and producing.

Q: What has been your favourite project to work on so far?

My Chicago “L” Album and My Bass Cafe EP that’s releasing on the 20th of this month

Q: How did you get the gig?

Started off with Djing House Parties in High School then I was Djing all around the Chicago Club scene before I was 21. I remember if the Police came in the Club Manager had me go hide in the coolers.

Q: What sports do you enjoy watching?

Baseball overall Chicago Cubs, My daughter is named after Addison Street it’s one of the intersecting streets where Wrigley Field is located where the Cubs play

Q: What has been one of the biggest highlights/achievements of your career?

Starting my label El3KTR0 45 Staying revenant honestly. I have Record Plaques for streams and downloads of my tracks and the ability to do what you love is all that matters at the end of the day.

My Kids, Addison & Alex

Q: Whatís the most interesting thing youíve read or seen this week?

Rereading over my divorce papers hahahahahaha and a guy balancing the brim of a baseball hat on his forehead for over like 10 mins while dancing doing it.

Q: What are your favorite venues to perform in?

Any festival but I like the close quarters of the club scenes. When you do festivals you’re so far away from the crowd

Be true to yourself and your music. Don’t pigeon hole yourself to one style and style only stay open.
