Interview With Music Artist Janeff the Poet
Q: Please introduce yourself to the readers and how you first got into this field of work –and who were some of your influences growing up?
I’m Janeff the Poet and I am a spoken word artist, songwriter and producer. I worked in the entertainment field for years in a behind-the-scenes capacity but I have been writing poetry and songs from an early age. I was and am influenced by artists in numerous genres; from jazz, hip-hop R&B and gospel.
Q: What kind of training have you had, if any?
No formal music training.
Q: What has been your favourite project to work on so far?
The collaboration with Meagan McNeal and Carla Prather on “I Can Only Be Me” which I wrote and appeared on.
5) What sports do you enjoy watching?
Football, basketball and baseball

Releasing my EP “Brimstone”
