Interview with Music Artist Hannah Strumner
Q: Please introduce yourself to the readers and how you first got into this field of work and who were some of your influences growing up?
My name is Hannah Strumner and I am nineteen years old. My influences were a lot of artists from the ’80s like Billy Joel and Bobbie Gentry.
Q: What kind of training have you had, if any?
I have had vocal training and piano lessons.
Q: What has been your favorite project to work on so far?
My favorite project so far has been an album that I am currently working on that comes out in 2022!
Q: What sports do you enjoy watching?
I enjoy some basketball but never have been the sporty type, though my dad coached football and baseball.
Q: What has been one of the biggest highlights/achievements of your career?
The biggest achievement in my career was probably when I hit 100,000 Instagram followers.
Q: If you had a chance to work alongside anybody who would that be?
I would love work alongside people like Carrie Underwood and Hailey Whitters.
Q: What projects do you have coming up?
I have a music video project coming up and I am so excited for the video to be filmed!
Q: Who is your inspiration?
My inspiration is Billy Joel, Bobbie Gentry, and Adam Young. I also love Carrie Underwood’s music so much!
Q: What is the most interesting thing you’ve read or seen this week?
One of the most interesting things that I saw this week was a picture of a Bass Ukulele! They are so unique, and I never knew they even existed.
Q: What are your favorite venues to perform in?
I usually do live streams when it comes to performing my music. I started doing these when the pandemic first began.
