What got you into music and made you realize that it was your chosen path?

I’ve been into music my whole life. I started off singing in the choir at age 6. I realized it was my chosen path because of how much I loved it. Not only did I love it, I soon realized I had talent.

Tell us about your new EP. And what’s the story behind it?

My new EP, “1 OF 1”, was made to encourage people to be themselves because everybody is uniquely “1 of 1”. Many people want to act like somebody they aren’t when they were made uniquely and exclusively themself. I hope that I got this message across.

What makes your music unique? What is your creative process like?

My music is unique because it is coming from me. In my music, I share personal experiences and my reactions and feelings towards these experiences. My creative process varies from song to song. I normally freestyle the verses and write the hooks, because that is the most important part of the song.

What advice would you give to aspiring musicians?

You can’t do this all alone. You will need a team, whether it is your friends or family. Also, do not expect to blow up overnight. You will only get to where you want with consistency and good quality music.

Who are your biggest musical influences? And any particular artist/band you would like to collaborate with in the future?

My biggest musical influences are Tory Lanez, A Boogie with a Hoodie, PNB Rock, and Roddy Ricch. I would definitely like to collaborate with Tory Lanez. I think he is talented and our sounds would complement each other.

How do you feel the Internet has impacted the music business?

The internet made the role of a label not as important. The internet also gave independent artists more tools they can use to better the brand that they otherwise might not have had. Consumption of music also became faster because of the Internet and digital streaming platforms.
