Q: Hi Freddye! How have things been going since the release of your last single, “Something To Believe In?”

It has been busy, busy! With my work as a nurse and a mom, I have been doing as much as I can with the summer weather!

Q: You’ve had quite a ride with several singles doing very well on the charts. What has been the most thrilling thing that’s happened to you in the past year?

Working with other musicians. Performances and thrilled to form a 3rd band! A gospel band! That is the most thrilling musical thing that has happened!

Q: What do you like to do when you’re not making music?

I love writing poetry, playing corn hole, and reading love stories, sci-fi, and mysteries!

Q: You live in Pittsburgh, PA. What is your favorite thing about the city?

That is easy! I love the lights at night! It is the most beautiful city I have seen at night. It takes my breath away each time I visit downtown Pittsburgh!

Q: If you could perform with anyone in the world, who would that be and why?

Ok, you did not ask if the person was alive or not. So, KoKo Taylor would be the one person I would love to perform with!

Q: Are you political at all? Do you get involved in social media debates?

I am only “political” with close friends and family. I do not debate on social media.

Q: What is one thing about yourself that you would change?

Let me see………honestly, nothing! I love what God made!

Q: If you had any advice for an up-and-coming artist, what would that be?

Continue to learn/build on your craft. Never give up! Maintain a balance between enjoying life and your craft. Take time out for you and your love ones. Surround yourself with artists who have the same “feel”, the same “flow”. Always be positive and be proud of your accomplishments, but do not be a dool about it. Remember how you got there!

Q: Any plans for a new single?

Oh yes! But, you will just have to wait!

Q: Will you be releasing a follow-up album?

Yes. Working on aroots and blues album, all original, reflecting on my roots in blues.

Q: Any last shout-outs or words for your fans?

Hey everybody! Thank you, thank you for your continued support in my music! Because of you, my music is heard around the world! Let’s keep on going!!! Add my music to your playlist! Come to my shows!
