An Interview with Rapper Morish
Q1: Hi Morish! Please introduce yourself to the readers and how you first got into this field of work –and who were some of your influences growing up?
Yeah, my name is Morish. I’m a rapper and I like to sing as well there is is a run my own songs and I was I grew up with hip hop, I used to listen to you know a lot of the old school and NW a doctor Dre’s. Especially the album in two thousand and one and then Eminem, At fifty St. they later Kanya and Yeah I have.
And Yes grew up with hip Hop not only, but also listen to us Timbaland sounds you know Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Fail Williams And Snoop Dogg. Yeah, he’s a rapper but Not the only rapper but also on and be.
Q2: What has been your favourite project to work on so far?
Favorite project to work on so far better than me. Course because my first single first music video and then I also did some confidence this about to come out.
And because there was something in you know me really angry it was really angry when I wrote it.
Wrote the lyrics and Nassau and how accurate Take the Negative things and Negative stuff thing and Turn it Into something positive.
M... To give the light you know Lights and sense of just you know Some positive vibes talk the truth. I guess confidence is one of my favorites.
Q3: Your new single ‘Better Than Me’ is out and Who inspired you. Can you talk us through that?
The third question is “better than me” And Yes this was it is it’s a real story and it’s a true story.
And Actually, If you go and watch my teaser you can understand why I was saying better than me like what does that mean it. Wow was saying, dad. A true story inspired by True Vince.
And I just wanna You know I’m not saying that I’m hating her or Whatever but I just want to help people to you know to move on and their life does not end after at love failure or something even you gave you everything in that other person F**K everything up.
M... Yes, inspiration. I guess the pain.
Q:4 If you had a chance to work alongside anybody who would that be?
And if you had a chance to work alongside anybody who would that be. I’m not sure I can not I mean I have a lot of not just one I would say I like to work with you know if I could work with the producer I think Doctor Dre’s.
The rapper “Eminem Kanya west” and if You would ask me about a singer I would choose a cheering so, Yeah I even least like to listen to that. You know Insurance though And Travis got into is interesting.
Yeah but I think I said too much I guess I guess if it’s producer doctor Dre’s bits or rapper Eminem Kanye west.
Q5: How did you come up with the title?
I guess you were asking about “better than me” And Yeah, I would say watch the Teaser.
Q6: What was the recording process for ‘Better Than Me ‘?
What was the recording process for “better than me” and the recording process was I guess wrote this song I get I don’t know I’m not sure three years four years ago. I’m not sure about that but I just wrote something and me Recorded the hope for is nap two years.
You know I just wanted to first I want to do that to you know to move on and then I realize that it’s going to be could be a song so recording process Long-time on to, it was fun it was very fun.
Q7: What artists are inspiring you at the moment?
What artists are inspiring you at the moment Kanya west. Because he’s a musical genius I Guess.
M. post-Malone, Travis Scott, Like join a Lucas could join a look is this spinning the facts in the Lyrical and even Eminem And at the moment Yeah.
Q8: You have collaborated with some impressive artists over the last few years — who is on your dream list of people to work with?
So who is on your dream list of people to work with so The one I dream very big I would say that’s breaks Right.
Oh, God Kendrick Lamar Of course Or is one of our is that inspires me. That I want to work with and J. Cole is amazing. I’m so sorry that I forgot Very important Kendrick Lamar, Dr. Dre’s, Eminem Tanya Very important.
Yeah but if I have to choose now independent artists. There on a list of young people. Well, I have to think about a lot of Talented people are out there in Singapore you know like around a young Rogers doing well And Yeah Ribit mac is doing great and I like his beats.
The Independent artists Yeah. Oh! yeah, One more thing If I could work with Rosalíaa that be amazing.
Q9: What moment are you most proud of?
One moment are you most proud of! Am… the first time walking On stage, I was Rappin and so my mom and dad are so happy it is in their face And there was one of the proudest moments because I just want to make them proud you know.
Q10: What are some of your favourite tracks from the EP and why?
What are some of my favorite tracks from the EP and Why? Wells, I will talk about you know when to move on my life when I live my dream but all I see at the moment is walls and I’m when breaking them down that kind of song and it’s very much money waiting I guess.
And that’s why I really like it in one more song rainbow so one of my friends tried to kill himself and I wanted to do was a song about you know since I but not a depressive one you know, not a depressing song.
But You know a fun song with the little message inside. Rainbow and walls I am One of my faith and they’re my Yeah, I like them Very much. Others too but Especially these.
