Please introduce yourself to the readers and how you first got into this field of work –and who were some of your influences growing up?

I’m Nick G a Rap Artist from Columbus Ohio I been rapping for 3 years now last year I made a hell of an introduction dropping 3 tapes and Consistent work. I ain’t even wanna rap when I started I took it for play really. My brother Sim ‘Semi On Em’ inspired me really he believed I could really do some with this so I got locked in December 2017 and we went crazy.

What kind of training have you had, if any?

I wouldn’t call it training but I stayed in the studio on a heavy consistent basis I will be focused I just got better and better by the studio sessions.

What has been your favourite project to work on so far?

I Rap Different only because some of it was made in a college dorm me and CD would go to class come back roll up record roll up again and record more it was like this for like a month then I came home to finish the rest of the tape.

What sports do you enjoy watching?

Basketball my favorite sport especially this upcoming NBA season it’s going crazy!

What has been one of the biggest highlights/achievements of your career?

My biggest accomplishment would be when I get outta state fans that actually enjoy my music I feel like I’m doing some special when that happens.

If you had a chance to work alongside anybody who would that be?

If I could work along with anybody it is Future his work ethic is amazing so l know the vibes would be crazy he a different breed.

What projects do you have coming up?

I got a collab Project dropping soon with my brother Yung Sauce called “Splash Bros”.

Who is your inspiration?

My inspiration comes from my mom seeing her work so hard turns me up in the studio. She supports me heavy and she knows I got talent she loves my music.

What’s the most interesting thing you’ve read or seen this week?

I watched a video this week about motivation and your drive to succeed and it relates to my generation and made me wonder why nobody wanna actually go get it everybody knows days sit in front of the phone all day capping about a life they don’t live.

What are your favorite venues to perform in?

My advice to the young music makers like me is to invest in your self and believe in you never listen to the crowd and keep your party around you full of the real ones. Gotta cut off all yes men you need the truth around you and just keeping going never give up.
