Tell us more about your new music:

Thank you so much for having me! My music is a mix of Latin music and American pop. It has electronic elements with Latin influences. My audience will be people from the US, specially Miami, California, NY, and all the Hispanic audience. I mix languages as well and I will be releasing Spanish and English songs.

Where are you from and are you loving LA?

I am from Asuncion, Paraguay located in South America. (Next to Brazil and Argentina). I LOVE LA because I learn a lot here, there are a lot of amazing artists, and I believe I could build an audience here. :)

When did you know music was going to be your passion?

Since I was a kid I always wanted to be an artist. But I thought it was something that couldn’t be achieved. 🤷‍♀️ Then growing up I just started to write and sing to feel better about myself. Without expecting anything. Then life brought me to LA. The 15-hour flight from my country and sometimes you cannot even imagine what can happen in this world.

What memorable responses have you had from your audiences?

The most amazing thing that happened to me with the audience was when I had a gig at Bar20. And I sang “Mamacita” for the first time. The first time I sang it people started to sing the chorus later on with me.

It was magical. Literally, the first time singing everyone was on it. It was great.

What would be your dream musical TOUR to go on?

I would say touring with Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez or any of those musical pop stars icons. A world tour.

How do you see the future of independent music?

I believe my music will start to grow as I do more music. I am conscious that’s not something that’s gonna happen fast. I am very happy with what I achieved with my first single “Mamacita” I did a video which I’m very proud of and I got positive responses. I even got a placement in the CW “Izombie” which is gonna be aired this season. I am very excited to hear my music in a hit Netflix show like that.

What are you most looking forward to in the rest of 2019?

I look forward to writing more music which I’m currently doing. Getting more TV placements like I already received and also getting more streams on Spotify. I want to get more exposure. I have a lot of dreams, to be honest. But every time I set up a goal I try to be realistic and put short term goals in order to achieve slowly what I want.

Thank you so much for having me!!

THANK YOU ALESSA and continued success to you and your great music!
