An Interview with JOUSKIN on the release of his new EP “THROUGH BROKEN MEMORIES”
WHO IS JOUSKIN?
Q: Please introduce yourself to the readers and how you first got into this field of work –and who were some of your influences growing up?
Hello everyone, my name is jouskin. My first got into music by just uploading songs I have written in my notebook and decided to record them. Some of my influences growing up where Eminem, smash mouth, Godsmack, Logic
Q: What kind of training have you had, if any?
I haven’t really had any training when it came to music. I just kept working on my craft and trying to make the best I can, which I’m still working on my craft.
Q: What has been your favourite project to work on so far?
My favorite project I’ve made is my new EP “THROUGH BROKEN MEMORIES”. How I look at the project is learning lessons from the past and how it made me realize about life. Like how people will stay loyal by and some may won’t stay loyal.
Q: How did you get the gig?
I never had a gig yet.
Q: What sports do you enjoy watching?
I never really watched sports. But I had to say my favorite. It would be football, basketball and MMA. But MMA has to be my favorite of all just because it most entertaining one for me.
Q: What has been one of the biggest highlights/achievements of your career?
I think the best highlight of music was getting over 7,000
listen on the song “To Kill The MockingBird”. I stay that’s the biggest highlight because that song has a lot of meaning and emotion behind it.
Q: If you had a chance to work alongside anybody who would that be?
If had the chance to make any work with anyone it would be XXXTENTACION
or Hailee Steinfield. Just because X is one of favorite artist and Hailee is one of my favorite pop artists.
Q: How did you come up with the idea for your Music video?
I haven’t word with anyone yet. But an old friend from junior high
makes music. I will try to get in contact with him and make music together.
Q: What projects do you have coming up?
For a future project, in 2020 I will be releasing four EP’s. I will
make a metal, old school hip, trap and R&B EP. The point of all this is to show everyone I am able to make music in different genres
Q: Who is your inspiration?
My biggest inspiration is XXXTENTACION. Just because I really
enjoy how he could make multiple genres of music. Which I loved different genres of music. So I decided to make different genres of music when I started making music.
