An Interview with director and graphic designer Bagio White

The world of design and art has the power to captivate and moves everyone that crosses its path. This is more so accurate with the designs from celebrity and editorial creative director Bagio White.

Bagio White the creative director and graphic designer that’s taking the industry for an uproar said that he came from a very humble start.

“I remember I was just sitting in my dorm room and I remember I was watching Jersey Shore and I said to myself…I could definitely create a dope magazine cover with them, that would be dope! And from that point, I decided that’s exactly what I’m gonna do and I even manage to call it DOPENESS” Bagio stated.

Shortly after the idea hit, Bagio began to design his first cover, which crazy enough featured his friends on the cover.

“[laughs] I mean honestly I was just grateful to have them a model for my first editorial debut as a creative director and it came out pretty awesome” Bagio stated to us in a brief interview.

Bagio says how his process works are that the photoshoots itself have a general direction which he maps out, but the creativity doesn’t start until he gets his hands on the photos and start the GFX work. Bagio garnered the attention for Companies like BET, Viacom, MTV and more with his work.

“My biggest accomplishment yet was when BET contacted me for my Magazine to do a collaboration with them for their 106 & Park hosts Bow Wow and Keshia Chante…That collaboration was historic because it was the only time they every revealed a magazine cover on the network and it was truly a humbling moment for me”.

Bagio’s designs have helped him amass an astonishing number of followers on social media. With over 150,000 followers combined bagio fans have really enjoyed his artform.
