Please introduce yourself to the readers and how you first got into this field of work –and who were some of your influences growing up?

My name is Micah DuBeau aka Motor Mouth and I am an American hip hop artist in the Los Angeles area. Growing up I always listened to Tupac and Eminem and had a passion for wordplay so I found myself drawn to the hip hop scene. Shortly after coming home from Iraq I found that writing my own music helped me work through all of the suppressed challenges I faced growing up as well as at war.

What kind of training have you had, if any?

My producer is Multi-Platinum and was the former head producer for Death Row Records for Suge Knight. He produced for Tupac, Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg, Bone Thugs, and many others and has been an incredible mentor to me over the last 15 months. He has done far more than create beats and record. He has really invested in me and taught me the game and for that, I will be forever grateful.

What has been your favourite project to work on so far?

That would definitely be my current project which is releasing my 2nd studio album. Currently, I am about one month away from releasing it.

What sports do you enjoy watching?

I actually have never really been into sports but if I had to choose one I would say Football.

What has been one of the biggest highlights/achievements of your career?

Getting my song “Back In The Day feat Marissa Delmonico” on heavy rotation at KISS FM and Power 104.

If you had a chance to work alongside anybody who would that be?

Hands down without a doubt Eminem

What projects do you have coming up?

I have released 3 singles and my first Studio LP called “I Always Rise” which released February 2019 and on it my song “Back In The Day feat Marissa Delmonico” is currently in heavy rotation at KISS 104.7 FM and Power 104 in the Miami area. I am currently about 1 month away from releasing my 2nd studio LP.

Who is your inspiration?

My greatest inspiration outside of Eminem would be sort of an adopted uncle to me. My uncle Todd. Hes loved by everyone, and was the first person in my life to ever really invest in me and help me see any value in myself. I think its fair to say that he alone could be responsible for why I believe I can do anything.
