An Exclusive interview with music artist GABE’S
A little about Music artist background;
Born in New Orleans, LA and adopted into a Military family, I have been singing and writing songs since I could walk or talk. I always have been passionate about music and hardly anything else! I have independently funded a number of projects including promo singles Changed & Naturally Beautiful with music videos on youtube, etc. I am very serious about my craft and envision my goals of having my name in bright lights while touching the masses with my talent every day when I wake up and before I go to bed. As I’m sure you know it takes money to make money! I am funding half of the new EP and am asking for YOUR help funding the other half!

Q: Please introduce yourself to the readers and how you first got into this field of work –and who were some of your influences growing up?
My name is GABE. I'm a singer-songwriter based in Atlanta, GA
Q: What kind of training have you had, if any?
Not much most of my talent is raw self-developed talent
Q: What has been your favourite project to work on so far?
I really enjoyed my most recent album. The process was very spiritual and I had to get real in tune with myself to channel my energy and create something so real to me.
Q: What sports do you enjoy watching?
I like all sports just the vibe of the crowds at live events give me a rush! Football or Soccer probably would be my top 2!
Q: What has been one of the biggest highlights/achievements of your career?
Just moving down to Atlanta and being able to reinvent myself and continue to push through adversity and the ups and downs is something I’m proud of and consider a great achievement.
Q: If you had a chance to work alongside anybody who would that be?
Chris Brown or Justin Timberlake. They are my top 2 artist right now and guys I always looked up to.
Q: What projects do you have coming up?
I have a single out called “True” focusing on dropping more singles and getting these visuals up
Q: Who is your inspiration?
My father is one inspiration to me more than anyone. Justin Timberlake, Chris Brown, Prince, Michael Jackson. The legends.
Q: What ’s the most interesting thing you’ve read or seen this week?
Man just all the police killings lately its really shitty and the world is a very disturbing place. We need God.
Q: What are your favorite venues to perform in?
I really enjoy events in my hometown Minneapolis! Myth or Epic event center have always been a few favs
Q: How did you come up with the idea for your Music video?
“True” music video I just really wanted to illustrate my feeling I had when writing and creating the song. Its a dark depressing yet beautiful vibe. The burning roses symbolized to me fading hope and heartbreak. It was raining that day and that made the video I feel like! I was hoping it would pour down harder to be honest! The blue scene we shot in the pouring rain which was epic!
Q: Do you have any advice for young music makers like yourself?
Follow your dreams. Never give up on something you love and are passionate about. Don’t let anyone talk you out of something because they themselves feel incapable. It happens. Stay strong keep good people around you and a sound mind and you can make it.
